After transitioning from her dynamic career as a professional dancer to another fast-paced yet sedentary role, she began experiencing weight gain, persistent fatigue, and a dependence on sugary, convenient foods. My Journey to Balance and Confidence

When I quit my job as a professional dancer, I found myself gaining weight and feeling lost. I tried everything—popular diets, running regularly (which I hated), and forcing myself to eat more veggies even though I didn’t enjoy them. Nothing worked. I felt tired, frustrated, and insecure. My clothes didn’t fit, and I constantly felt uncomfortable in my own skin. So, I quit—over and over again.

Then, in the fall of 2018, everything changed. I went on a trip to Italy with my boyfriend and friends, and it was a wake-up call. My clothes felt tight, and I was self-conscious the entire time. I felt embarrassed standing next to fit, beautiful women. I didn’t even want to leave my boyfriend unattended because of how insecure I was. Seeing old friends who noticed how much I’d changed only made me feel worse. I knew I couldn’t keep living like this—hiding, feeling ashamed, and letting my insecurities dictate my life.

That’s when I decided to take serious action. I dug deep into research and realized I wasn’t the problem—I was just misinformed. There was nothing “wrong” with me,I just needed to make sustainable changes. The breakthrough came when I joined a health coaching program and connected with women facing the same struggles. I finally felt understood, supported, and accountable. That was the beginning of my healing journey.

Today, I’m proud to say I’ve found balance. I know what to eat, when to eat, and how to enjoy food without guilt. I’ve developed a healthy relationship with food and my body, and I’ve learned to listen to what it truly needs. I’ve transformed my life, and now I help other busy professional women do the same.
